Let all people hear the Good News! One Year For Jesus Project News
Christ The Savior Church of Kansk in Krasnoyarsk region, which is located in the Central Siberia, is determined to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ.
An evangelistic team from this church regularly does outreaches in towns and villages of the region. Very often brothers and sisters from the church join the team. Besides the evangelistic team, every home group participates in outreaches. They visit people in their homes, pray for them and give them New Testaments.
In the end of summer the joint team made a trip to some remote villages. The trip lasted six days. During this time 1,400 people heard the Good News. Missionaries brought the Gospel to every home. All children and youth received their own copy of the Book of Hope. Missionaries prayed for salvation and for healing.
They also conducted evangelistic concerts in local town centers (they are called «Houses of culture»). In one town 28 people came to the concert. At the end of the concert during the altar call all 28 came forward to accept Jesus.
These towns and villages are very far from larger cities. People live in poverty. They seem to be forgotten by the government. But God did not forget them. He sends people who are willing to fulfill His mission, their hearts' desire is that everyone would hear the Gospel. That is why our missionaries came to even the smallest village and came into every home. Sometimes houses looked like no one lived in them, but the Holy Spirit would lead them in and they would find people there – who were sick, left alone to die. Missionaries did what they could to help these people, but most importantly, they shared God's love with them. Not only in words, but in action.
We praise God that he allowed us to be His co-laborers. It is a great privilege!
