“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7: 14)

On March 17 youth service at the New Testament Church of the city of Perm was held in an unusual format – a talk show. It was devoted to the topic of love, love when it is not mutual... Because young people tend to fall in love, but not always, their feelings are mutual. Elena and Anastasia who were the hosts of the talk show invited two married couples – Pastor Pavel and Elena Hooda, Pastor Leonid and Catherine Novikov – as experts.

In the first days of spring Grace Church in Kaluga hosted a festive meeting for women. Spring is the time of the year when the nature awakens, it’s the time when new hope and expectation of something joyful and bright appears. We associate spring with life, warmth and colors. And, perhaps, all these images could be applied to women.

On March 9 and 10 New Testament Church in Dzerzhinskiy (Moscow suburb) hosted a Christian Music Festival. Some of the famous musicians and bands participated in the event: Alexander Patlis and Victoria Belova, «Vita Nova» and «LadyBird» music groups, New Testament Church of Dzerzhinskiy music band, American artist James Huey, and other soloists. A special guest of the Festival was evangelist Mikel French. He was the main speaker during the two days of the event.

Last weekend youth ministry team "Plug Into Heaven" of Izhevsk Philadelphia Church led by Youth Pastor Vladimir Batalov visited churches of the city of Bereznyaki in the neighboring Perm region.

On March 5-9, Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith in cooperation with International ministries: "Global Teen Challenge", "Isaac" and "TearFond" held a spring session of the Leadership Training Institute for ministers that work in the area of rehabilitation.

On the 8^th of March people of Russia celebrate International Women’s Day. Though the history of this holiday goes back to the Soviet times as a holiday for working women it became a wonderful holiday to celebrate the joy of spring and new life. All men bring gifts to their mothers, wives, sisters and daughters.

Dear brothers and sisters, in March, we offer to pray for the following needs:

1. Churches of different denominations in Russia. Cooperation and fellowship between the churches of Russia. Pastors, leaders, ministers and church members.

2. Interaction of the Church and the government at all levels.

3. Church members that have ceased to attend services.

Childhood and prison. It seems that these two are not compatible, but the realities of this world show otherwise. In women’s prisons there are special facilities for children, who are born in prison and they stay there up to certain age. Another problem in our society is juvenile prisons. It’s hard to even imagine that young boys and girls live in barracks, wear prisoners’ robes. But what can you do – that's life. They committed crimes, and the society is compelled to take measures for their temporary isolation. Fortunately, other methods are being sought to change their behaviors.

On February 4, 2012 Christians of evangelical faith organized a concert in Omsk juvenile prison. A group of children from Harvest Church and Tree of Life Christian choir took part in it.

On February 4, Salvation in Jesus Church had a water baptism service. 11 people received water baptism, which is "not the washing of the filth of flesh but promising a good conscience to God" (1 Peter 3:21). It was a solemn moment when the new Christians committed their lives to the Lord, to doing His will. It is always such a joy to see people conscientiously turning away from their past ways of life and thinking, see how they conform themselves to Jesus, His death and resurrection!

Every nationality is unique and beautiful before God. Children praising God in their own language are the guarantee of the future for a nation. Children are always the most active part of a society.

On Saturday, February 4, 2012 women of Nehemiah Church in Omsk met for the women's ministry "Pearl".

The theme of the meeting was: "Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished!" (Luke 1:45). On this day God has revealed Himself in a particular way and touched many hearts. Thanks be to God for His presence!

To be holy and to seem holy – is there a difference? One of the Sunday sermons at Filadelfia Church in Naberezhnye Chelny (Tatarstan) was about holiness and what it means to be holy. Someone who is holy, a saint, is serving others, the one who pretends to be holy, or to be a saint, is admiring oneself.

On January 30, Omsk regional association of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith started a project "Missionary School. 2012". Opening service was held in the Siberian Theological Institute. 20 people from Omsk region and the Urals Mountains region came to spend four months studying the Word of God and evangelism.

Dear brothers and sisters, in February there are three prayer needs:

1. For the youth of Russia.

2. For God not to allow a second wave of the global crisis.

3. For Israel.

On January 27, volunteers from the "New Testament" church located in the town of Linevo (Novosibirsk region) presented a lesson on moral values to kids from the local school #1. During the interactive lecture they spoke about the importance of choice in their lives.

The event has a prehistory...

On January 26, Source of Life Church of Syktyvkar (Komi Republic) prayed and blessed Arseny and Olesya Prokushev to go on a mission field. They will be missionaries to the city Sosnogorsk in Komi Republic. Senior pastor of the Source of Life Church, Bishop Pavel Kudrov prayed for the Prokushev family and encourage them with the following words: "Jesus Christ gave us the Great Commission, that we are to go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

On January 24, in Moscow, at the Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary an interdenominational prayer service was held. The service was attended by Catholics, representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church, as well as the largest Protestant churches of Russia.

‘For all shall know me, from the least to the greatest of them. For I will be merciful to their iniquities, and their sins will I remember no more’, declares the Lord in His New Testament (Hebrews 8:10-12). Has any of us ever been worthy of it? A human being often hesitates to submit his mind and heart completely, but the Lord is always knocking on our hearts with an expectation. We do not seek Him, He is looking for us and asks: find time for Me!
